iCanRead - Mobile Learning App

iCanRead is the flagship product from iCanLearn and has been designed to encourage children to read more outside of their time spent at school. Delivered via a simple to use intuitive App, once parents have downloaded iCanRead they can use it at home to support and engage their children.

We have listened to what parents and teachers want from such an App and incorporated it all. For example, we have included a reading log that can be submitted to the school electronically on a weekly basis, thus replacing manual reading records. Couple that with a fun ‘aliens in space’ theme that rewards children for reaching milestones in their reading and the outcome will be a child who is more engaged in his/her reading.

Also included are key elements from the national curriculum are included to help parents understand what their child is taught at school. Features such as a phonic audio dictionary, comprehension questions, a punctuation rocket, book reviews and target setting support, all ensure parents have all the tools to support their child’s reading at home.

Whether an accomplished reader picks up his/her 10th book of the week, or a non-reader gets excited about reading one book, we plan to see progress and get children reading more.
